Upholstery by Charlotte Bland

Charlotte Bland is an online writer and and sometime photographer who, when not in the upholstery workshop, lives in London near the river. She came to her craft by way of a trip to Whitstable and a 1960s sewing stool she found in a junk shop.

Able to see past the red polyester faux fur cover she took an upholstery class at Westminster College and discovered a new love, completing her City and Guilds at London Metropolitan University in 2008. She envisages a future full of chairs.
