Upholstery by Caroline McGivern

My inspiration was a salon chair in Matisse's studio. The frustration of seeing unloved chairs and not having the knowledge to revive them gave me the eventual push to do an upholstery course.

After 22 years of magazine design, I needed to do something just as creative with my hands. Having a love for fabrics and furniture seemed the perfect marriage.
